Lost Train Lines #9 Barry Beach Railway line

I mentioned how Agnes ( The Trestled Temptress) had swapped her skirts for singlets when she became Barry Beach Junction; here is the underwhelming tale of the Barry Beach Railway line.

Barry ( Bazza to his mates) Beach Railway was a short line that branched from the South Gippsland Railway line to service goods to the oil fields in Bass Strait.
Barry was but a lad in short pants when he was put out to pasture; opened in 1969 he'd barely raised a sweat by the time they closed him in 1992.
